Traveling with children
At Skåne Aviation, we want every journey to be comfortable and enjoyable for the whole family. We always do our best to seat families as close together as possible while complying with all onboard safety requirements. Important Seating Information! If you are traveling with one infant and one child, your seating arrangement may be different from what you are used to on larger aircraft. For safety reasons, infants must always be seated with an accompanying adult in the aircraft's single-seat row. These seats are equipped with the additional oxygen masks required for safe infant travel. As a result, it is not possible for the entire family to sit directly next to each other during the flight. Instead, we will seat you on the same row, but on opposite sides of the aisle. This ensures that your family remains as close together as possible while meeting all applicable safety requirements. Although the aisle separates the seats, you will still be seated directly across from one another, making it easy to see and communicate with each other throughout the flight. We always do our best to seat families as close together as possible, while complying with all applicable safety requirements. We look forward to welcoming you on board!
Discounts for Children
We want to make it easy and affordable to travel as a family. Therefore, we offer the following:
Infants (0–2 years) - Travel for free.
Children (2–11 years) - Receive a 25% discount when traveling with an adult (at least 16 years old).
Unaccompanied Minors:
Our service for unaccompanied minors is available for all children aged 5 to 17 years.
- For children aged 5–11 years, the service is mandatory.
- For children aged 12–17 years, the service is optional but recommended if the child is traveling for the first time or needs extra support.
If your child is traveling alone, we are happy to take care of them through our unaccompanied minor service. This service is mandatory for children aged 5–11 years traveling without another person who is at least 16 years old. They will be escorted throughout the journey from arrival at the check-in desk until they are met by a person designated by you at their destination.
Booking for Unaccompanied Minors (UM)
Booking is done at the time of ticket purchase. Add a comment under Assistance in the passenger details stating that the trip is for a child traveling alone.
Once availability has been checked, you will receive:

a confirmation of the booking

information about the total price including fees
The “Children Traveling Alone” form must:

be printed in three copies

be brought to the airport
