Flying with luggage and cabin baggage

At SkåneAviation, we want you to feel safe and prepared for your journey. That’s why we have made our baggage rules as clear and easy to understand as possible. Here you will find everything you need to know about carry-on baggage, checked baggage, special baggage, and items with special regulations.

Before your trip

We want you to be able to bring the most important things on board without stress. Therefore, the following applies:

  • 1 carry-on baggage
  • 1 personal item (e.g. handbag, small laptop bag)

Dimensions & weight:

  • Carry-on baggage: max 55 × 40 × 23 cm

  • Personal item: max 40 × 30 × 15 cm
  • Total weight: 8 kg

The carry-on baggage must fit in the overhead compartment and the personal item under the seat in front of you.

How much checked baggage you can take depends on your ticket.

  • 1 piece is included on most tickets
  • Maximum dimensions per piece: 158 cm (length + width + height)
  • Maximum weight: 23 kg

You can always purchase extra baggage through My Travels or at the airport. (Link)

We are happy to assist you if you are traveling with something that requires extra care. Examples:

  • Sports equipment (skis, golf bag, bicycle, diving equipment)
  • Musical instruments
  • Stroller or car seat
  • Bulky baggage

Special baggage often needs to be reported in advance. Please contact us in good time so we can ensure everything is prepared.

Certain items may not be taken on board or must be packed in a specific way. Examples:

  • Lithium batteries
  • Sharp objects
  • Liquids over 100 ml in hand luggage
  • Weapons and ammunition
  • Flammable substances

If something happens to your luggage, we want you to feel secure.

If your luggage does not arrive:

  • Report it directly at the airport
  • You will receive a reference number (PIR)
  • We will keep you updated until the luggage is returned

If your luggage is damaged:

  • Report the damage within 7 days
